Production Assistant - Full Time
Do you want to save the world or at least the wildlife in it? Thanks to our expanding product line, requests from across North America and the world are pouring in – and we need you to make sure our products are built, in-stock, and shipped out quickly.
Margo Supplies is a worldwide leader in wildlife technology. We design, manufacture, and distribute environmental tools that solve human-wildlife conflict. Our head office is located in High River, AB, a 20-minute drive away from South Calgary.

About the Role
- Work with our production and R&D team to assemble in-house made technical products
- Build standard production items as well as custom projects
- Work in a small team environment with access to modern small-scale manufacturing equipment such as CNC mill and 3D printers
- Monday to Friday – flexible shift hours
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Assemble electrical and physical components using handtools.
- Learn technical assembly procedures and skills.
- Learn soldering techniques.
- Safely and accurately use hand and power tools to assemble products and components.
- Ability to work safely around machines and other workers.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Provide your own steel-toed boots.
- Attention to detail and job site cleanliness.
- Worksafe training is an asset.

Wildlife Technology Customer Support Representative - Full Time

About the Role
We are open to a variety of experiences. At minimum you have some connection and passion for animals or wildlife.
- You take incoming customer leads from multiple regions, and determine the appropriate level of service.
- You are able to quickly acquire the knowledge to answer basic customer inquiries and take many orders.
- You are quickly able to identify the service required, the value of a potential sale, and direct the lead to the appropriate person.
- You can prepare quotations and follow up with customers.
- You understand the mechanical and technical function of our products and provide recommendations and troubleshooting by phone and email.
- Communicate professionally to clients in writing and through the phone.
- You can relate to our customers in agriculture and wildlife related fields.
Who You Are:
A Social Chameleon: Whether you are speaking to an organic farmer or a corporate buyer you know how to create a connection. You adjust what information you provide and how you say it to cater to your audience.
You Sweat the Small Stuff: You understand that a successful sale does not just happen. Going from a lead to delivered products requires a chain of events that must happen according to plan.
A Generalist with a Passion for Learning: You apply your general knowledge to a specific challenge, consuming critical information along the way.
Qualifications:
- Past experience in a customer-facing role in the environmental, outdoors, agricultural, or resource extraction industries. Wildlife experience is strongly preferred and will be reflected by a higher starting wage.
- Familiar with varying requirements of international, wholesale, government, business, and retail sales.
- Proficiency with business software, including point of sale, fulfillment programs, and
- spreadsheets.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical information in written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational ability.
- Strong geographic and logistics understanding.
