For the most secure setup and to ensure the longevity of your bracket:
Positioning: Place the aluminum bracket on the face of the wood post so that when the JVA energizer is slid into place, the base of the energizer just barely rests on the top of the post.
Solar Gain: Ensure the post and bracket face True South (in the Northern Hemisphere) to maximize battery charging.
